As evidenced by the team 'T' included here, "Team Liam" keeps his memory alive in the Memphis St. Jude Marathon each year...

After Meghan’s father passed away, we used his much-loved t-shirts to make a quilt of lasting memories.  T-shirts and jeans combine perfectly to memorialize the easy-going nature of the man himself.

Using Race for the Cure event t-shirts, as well as a scanned photo and other breast cancer awareness mementos, this wallhanging represents the maxim  always carried in my heart– “Wish You Were Here!”

Representing just a smattering of the many marathons and races he’s run over an active lifetime, this quilt is a fond reminder of running club memories for Ken and his family.

The mild-mannered appearance of this quilt belies all of the hard work that went into garnering the t-shirt memories from which it is made - from local to U.S. events, all the way to the Boston Marathon, itself! 

Made as a gift for his daughter, the lifetime of proud accomplishments chronicled here is nothing less than amazing.   

{Just before completion of the the quilt, we learned that Tom qualified for the Boston Marathon, (again!)
